1. Purpose of This Disclaimer
PuzzleForge helps you create puzzles, activity books, cover artwork, and print-oriented exports with a mix of deterministic engines and AI assistance.
This disclaimer explains important limitations of AI output, answer keys, artwork, validation tools, and Amazon KDP-oriented publishing features. It is meant to be read together with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
2. Operator
PuzzleForge is operated by V Games Lab LLC, 161 Ocean Avenue, Point Pleasant Beach, NJ 08742, United States.
A dedicated legal contact email is pending attorney review. Until designated, use the physical mailing address above for formal correspondence.
3. AI Output May Be Inaccurate or Incomplete
AI-generated puzzles, clues, questions, themes, descriptions, book plans, hints, and related text may contain mistakes, omissions, inconsistencies, duplicates, outdated information, or unsuitable content.
Model behavior can vary. The same prompt may produce different results at different times. AI assistance is a starting point, not a finished, verified publication package.
4. Puzzle Answers and Solutions May Contain Errors
Answer keys, solutions, decoded phrases, matching keys, quiz answers, and similar solution materials may be wrong even when a puzzle appears structurally valid.
You must verify every answer key before printing, distributing, selling, or otherwise relying on it. Automated checks do not replace human review of solutions.
5. Generated Artwork — Quality and Intellectual Property Limitations
AI-generated or AI-assisted cover artwork may have quality issues (for example composition, text rendering, resolution, style inconsistency, or print suitability).
Artwork may not be unique, exclusive, copyright-protectable, or free from similarity to existing works or third-party claims. PuzzleForge does not promise that generated images confer clear commercial rights or that they will satisfy marketplace or trademark clearance needs.
If you upload your own images, you are responsible for having the rights to use and publish them.
6. You Must Review Your Final Work
Before sharing, printing, uploading to Amazon KDP, or selling materials created with PuzzleForge, you must review the complete package: content, answer keys, layout, pagination, cover, spine, barcode area considerations, front matter, and final PDFs.
You are responsible for confirming that the materials are accurate, appropriate for your intended audience, and compliant with applicable laws and platform rules.
7. Automated Validation Is Assistance, Not Certification
PuzzleForge may use deterministic engines to validate structural aspects of certain puzzles and may offer repair, preflight, fit, or visual QA helpers.
Those tools can reduce some classes of errors, but they cannot guarantee error-free puzzles, perfect layouts, educational correctness, or marketplace acceptance. Treat automated validation as assistance only — not certification, approval, or a warranty.
8. Print-Quality Checks Do Not Guarantee Print Results
Print-readiness and print-quality checks evaluate selected technical signals in our tooling. They do not guarantee how a file will look when printed by Amazon or any other printer.
Paper, ink, binding, trim, color profiles, device differences, and third-party production processes can all change outcomes. Where appropriate, order and inspect a physical proof before wide release.
9. KDP-Oriented Formatting Does Not Guarantee Amazon Approval
PuzzleForge is independent of Amazon and Amazon KDP. KDP-oriented interior and cover tooling is designed to help you prepare files; it does not guarantee Amazon approval, successful upload, cover or interior validation acceptance, printing consistency, continued listing availability, or account standing.
Amazon may reject, delay, suppress, or remove books for reasons outside PuzzleForge's control. Amazon's requirements and help documentation can change at any time. Always verify current Amazon KDP rules and use Amazon's own preview tools.
10. Amazon May Reject or Remove Books
Even if PuzzleForge checks pass, Amazon may still reject your upload, request changes, or later remove or suppress a published title.
PuzzleForge is not responsible for Amazon account restrictions, KDP eligibility decisions, or policy enforcement actions taken by Amazon.
11. AI Disclosure Requirements
You may be required to disclose AI-assisted or AI-generated content under Amazon rules, other marketplace policies, advertising rules, or applicable law.
You are solely responsible for determining and making accurate disclosures. PuzzleForge does not automatically fulfill those obligations for you.
12. Publication Rights and Clearance
You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights needed to publish and commercialize your materials, including rights in User Content, uploads, trademarks, characters, logos, personal likenesses, and any third-party material you include.
Do not assume AI Output is automatically cleared for commercial publishing. When in doubt, obtain legal advice before sale or wide distribution.
13. Commercial Risk — No Guarantee of Results
PuzzleForge does not guarantee book sales, royalties, profitability, search rankings, marketplace approval, customer satisfaction, printing outcomes, or any commercial success metric.
Publishing involves market risk, platform risk, quality risk, and legal risk. Those risks remain yours.
14. Content Safety Limitations
PuzzleForge applies content-safety moderation to help keep the Service family-friendly. Moderation can fail in both directions: unsafe content may occasionally pass, and acceptable content may occasionally be blocked.
You remain responsible for the suitability of final published materials for your audience.
15. Relationship to the Terms of Service
This disclaimer highlights publishing and AI-specific risks. It does not replace the Terms of Service. If there is a conflict, the Terms control to the extent permitted by law, except that clearer risk statements here are intended to reinforce — not weaken — user-review and no-guarantee concepts.
Warranty disclaimers, liability limits, indemnity, and governing-law provisions in the Terms remain subject to attorney review and applicable non-waivable rights.
